My
woodcarving has in the main been restricted to decoy ducks and other birds.
I like
the challenge of creating the texture of feathers as well as depicting birds in
flight, for decoys I use Jelutong but I have used Elm, Sycamore and Mahogany
for other smaller birds.
As well as chisels I use a Flexible shaft and small Burrs for the shaping and texturing of the birds.
